Dr Aušra Jakienė has been registered on the Specialist Division of the Irish Medical Council since 14 March 2012 (IMCR 404259, GMS 54023)
She graduated from the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences in Kaunas on 23 June 2006, completing a 10-year programme in General and Family Medicine and obtaining both her medical qualification and Master’s degree.
She subsequently completed specialist training recognised by the Irish Medical Council and is qualified to practise independently as a specialist GP in Ireland.
With approximately 18 years of experience in family medicine, Dr Aušra has established herself as a compassionate and trusted GP. She regularly continues her professional development through local and international medical conferences and training.
Her areas of interest cover a broad range of general medicine, including paediatrics, dermatology, aesthetic medicine, cardiology, urology and endocrinology. She cares for patients across all stages of life, from babies and children through to older adults.
Dr Aušra speaks Lithuanian and provides Lithuanian-speaking patients with the opportunity to receive medical care and advice in their native language.
My Family Clinic Ltd was established on 13 February 2013 and provides both private and public healthcare services.
The clinic welcomes patients of all ages, from birth onwards, and currently sees approximately 9,000 patients from across Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
The clinic has a multidisciplinary team of specialists who speak English, Lithuanian and Russian. The medical team regularly attends professional courses, training and both national and international conferences to keep their knowledge and clinical practice up to date.
Services available include GP/family medicine, gynaecology, spine and joint/pain specialist care, as well as a wide range of medical investigations and procedures.
The clinic also supports eligible patients through Irish public healthcare schemes, including GP Visit Cards for children under 8 and people aged 70 and over.
European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) services are also available for eligible visitors to Ireland who require necessary medical care during their stay.
